  Yep my ds has had some mostly ground, since when I cook the deer steaks they are still pretty pink. He has had some of the steak just not the pink area.

  We gave a strip of the steak to her a while ago and she loved it.  She just chewed on it and got the flavor but it was tough enough that she couldn't bite any off.
