new car!

DH had a Ford Ranger & we just traded it in for a Ford Edge. It's so nice. I love it.

Now we both have cars baby can ride in... & we both have cars either of us can drive. Before, I did not like driving his truck. I'm seriously so excited. But also... relieved. :)

  • Congrats!  We are thinking about getting a Toyota Matrix because we have a lil' 2 door right now.  Not conducive to car seats and soft spots!

Yeah, the ranger was just not going to cut it. & I didn't want to be the only one who had a car that baby could ride in. Not really good for tandem pick-ups & drop offs.

  • Good choice, we have a crossover too and it's such a nice size of vehicle.

  • We also have a Toyota Rav4. Our little SUV family is complete! :)

I'm so happy it makes me giddy.

  • I know exactly how you feel! My hubby had a 1995 Ford Ranger that was given to him when he turned 16. It was a great truck but was NOT going to cut it for a family vehicle. We travel a lot for football season and my SUV's mileage was ticking higher and higher. In July of last year we got him a full size, 4 door truck THAT I CAN DRIVE! His previous truck was a manual transmission and I had no clue how to drive that thing! It makes such a huge difference to know that your car doesn't have to be driven everywhere and that DH will be able to take the baby with him places safely!
  • OMG I hear you about putting all those miles on mine. I've probably put 20,000 on mine in a year because we barely ever take his...

But I'm happy we're both in a better position vehicle-wise now!
