Need ur opinions...

So my husband received a trip to Florida through his work and he can bring me! yay! its a sweet hotel and they will pay for some activities including spa etc. anywho the problem is i'm due March 24th and we would leave on April 15th....so my baby would only be a few weeks old and my oldest will be 20 months family has offered to babysit IF i decide to go. I also plan on breastfeeding, 

so i was wondering:

is it even possible to pump enough milk in a few weeks for 4 days for an infant?

also want your opinions about leaving my baby thats only a few weeks old, would you go if you were me?

    I wouldn't...but that's just me.  I would trust my family completely, but I would feel too guilty leaving.  I am a FTM though, so maybe I'm being more protective....

    I would skip it. It will be more stress than it's worth. You won't really get to enjoy it like you normally would.

    I wouldn't do it.  My body would not have appreciated a trip of any kid that soon after having DD, I would have been miserable leaving her, and it will in all likelihood derail breast feeding.  I don't see how you could stockpile enough milk for 4 days.  Trying would mean being hooked up to your pump constantly for the couple weeks you'll have between milk coming in and going on the trip.  Florida will still be there in a couple months, and so will the spa :)

    Can you bring the baby with you? I don't know at so soon after giving birth I'd feel up to a vacation.

    I am all for vacations without baby, but I think the timing of this would be way too soon. What if you go overdue? Have a c-section? You might not be healed up completely by the time that trip rolls around.

    I wouldn't want to leave my LO that soon. I'm not certain, but you probably won't want to either once he/she gets here.

    Many airlines won't allow you to fly with a 3 week old.  Don't know what the criteria is, but 6 weeks sticks in my mind.  Seriously- it doesn't sound like a good idea.

    I wouldn't leave my baby that young. Especially if I'm nursing. I don't know if you bf'd your 1st, but the first few weeks of bfing is very important for milk supply and getting the baby used to it. You really need to be there on demand to nurse. Believe me I'm all about vacations w/o kids, but l'd never leave my newborn for 4 days.

    In addition, I'd feel bad leaving my newborn with a family member. LO probably won't be sttn, so I'd feel terrible knowing my mom or someone was up every 2-3hrs (of more often) with the baby!

    There is no way I would go. I am even skipping a Radiohead concert that I would die to go to in April. My mom would be here to watch her and it would only be for a few hours, but I just can't. The first few weeks of breastfeeding are so difficult for mom and baby. I would be afraid leaving for an extended period of time would severly interfere with it.
