I'm in labor (AHHHH!!!)

So my water broke at 1:50pm today, a huge gush.  I was walking outside to get my insurance health screening when I slipped and fell - not far and it was on grass.  I landed on my butt/hip and it felt like I peed my pants.  I stood up and felt another gush.  I immediately called DH laughing and crying because I couldn't tell if I peed myself or my water broke.   I then called my dr to get checked out after runnning home and putting on a pad and new pants.

By the time I made it to the clinic (I live 8 blocks away), I had already soaked the pad.  The nurse and I were laughing because I kept telling her I felt gushing and when she went to check me out I had leaked all the way through to the chair.  There was no doubt - my water had broken.

Dr came in and checked me out.  I was 4 cm dilated, 80% effaced and baby is at -3.  She told me to get admitted to the hospital, but I had to wait for DH to bring me pants that weren't soaked.  Contractions started as I was standing in the hospital getting admitted.  They are 3 minutes apart - and getting more painful :( I planned on having a natural birth while keeping an open mind to drugs - I've never done this before so I don't know what to expect. Not sure if I am going to make it.  Oh well, within the next day I get my baby girl!!!
