crochet longies

Are crochet longies just as effective as knit ones? My grandma and MIL both crochet, anyone have any good patterns? thanks!

    I think so. As long as it is wool you should be fine. I told my mother that my DS wanted crocheted longies for xmas, she kind of gave me a goofy look and said okay. (she crochets too and doesn't quite understand all the cloth diaper stuff)
