You just described what the majority of our summers are like. You're making me jealous. It's actually high 40s here today and I'm excited. This time of year, that is very, very warm.
Don't have an answer to your question though. I wouldn't hesitate to let kids play in a water table, even a wading pool, at those temps. But I obviously live in a much colder climate than you do.

ha ha that's a good reminder that lots of ppl have temps liket this in the summer. I usually let them play in the water at those temps, but I think some ppl around here still think it's too cold.

Totally. I would let them play at various cooler temperatures if they wanted to. We played with ours outside well into our fall weather (and like pp, you're describing much of our summer temps...). If their hands get cold, let them stop. Not that big a problem, IMO.
