I really really really want to give up the internet. Like, I really SHOULD. I'm so bad with my iphone - I swear the iphone will be the downfall of parenting across the world, haha!!
I'm not religious though.
Maybe I could just do a non-lent pledge to limit the internet to 30 minutes a day
We are giving up meat on Fridays and I really want to get to Stations of the Cross on Fridays too, but babysitting might be a challenge. Judging by how Ash Wednesday Mass went this morning, there is no way I could focus on Stations with Tess in tow.

I'm giving up cursing. Well.... Trying to. My mom used to always make us add something positive too. For example, one year I offered to give up my little brother for Lent (what a sweetheart, I know)... Instead my mom made us say something nice to each other every day. I was like 12 and at the time, It killed me. So, this year when I get so fed up that I want to turn on my sailor mouth, I am going to find something nice to say instead. God help me.
