Let me start off by saying that I know it's not good to mess with mother nature/your body/natural cycle and so on but...........
I used to take birth control and once because my period was going to be showing up the week of my wedding I didn't take the placebo pills so I could skip my period and it worked out great. DH and I are heading to the Dominican in 2 weeks for our very late honeymoon and guess what my period is most likely going to start the day before we leave....ugh! Side note, I do not have light periods, I have the heavy have to wear a tampon and a pad and still worry type period.
Anyone know of any natural ways to either lighten up a period or even better skip it all together? I had my tubes tied so I'm no longer on birth control and it would be too late for that method to work at this point anyway. I've done some googling and there is some info on different herbal type things that might work but every website says something different so who knows if any of them actually work or not.
Obviously I'm planning on just having to deal with it but thought I would ask. Maybe there is something out there that I've never even heard of:)
