BF Moms - ? About sleepwear

When pg with dd I brought these nurser sleeper bra things from motherhood. I didn't bf her a week and stopped wearing them. This time I am using them and my boobs fall out under them. THey are not comfy at all. They were a lot of money and they are useless.

What are you ladies wearing at night?

  • I hate it, but I'm wearing a regular nursing bra to sleep.  The sleep bras are useless, I agree!  I tried just going without one night, but of course I soaked the sheets....kind of knew I would but I just had to take a break!  The only time I'm ever bra-less sandy more Is in the shower or during sex!

  • I have 2 of the medela sleep bras. They weren't that expensive and I got them from amazon. I am not a very busty lady by any means, however. I find them very comfortable and wear them all day (while I am home that is).

  • I go bra-less, I rarely leak so I just wear my nursing pull down tank for easiest access.... in fact that is usually how I stay unless I need to go out because he nurses so often

  • I wear the target nursing tank tops. I think they are super comfortable.

  • I just wear a regular nursing bra.... I thought about getting a sleep bra but don't feel like spending the money lol. I'm not big chested though (although I DO feel like a porn star in the morning before nursing haha).

  • I usually wear a nursing sports bra to bed- I feel kind of uncomfortable at night without a bra and leak pretty badly, so just a nursing tank doesn't quite do the job for me.

After 2 1/2 years TTC, 3 IUI's, endo, and a lap, a surprise BFP brought us Alexandra Marie!

This...I only have to worry about leaking if I don't get up before DD and pump one side at 6:30 in the morning

I actually really like the Motherhood sleep bras! I have two of them, and they are the only ones I've tried that actually fit right. I got some from Target, and if I got a big enough size for "the girls", the band was too loose and rode up in back! But I do agree that the Target nursing tanks are great. I stopped sleeping in them because I felt like the band was too tight for sleeping and contributing to clogged ducts, but I like them to layer during the day!

Exactly this. The Bravado nursing tanks are awesome if you're big-chested, they actually provide support. Target just started selling them, but only online.

  • I wear the Majamas sleep bra at night.  I hate hate hate sleeping in a bra but I am large chested and leak A LOT at night so I need something.  I don't need the support as much as just something to hold nursing pads in place.  They are the most comfortable I have found.  I also have a Bravado nursing bra that I wear occasionally if my sleep bra is in the wash or something and it is fairly comfortable to sleep in.  It is much more supportive and was better in the beginning when I was engorged.
