ladies,
I am planning a baby shower for my SIL in April. The problem is we are exact opposites, everything I would want in a shower is exactly what she will hate...haha so that being said, I want to plan a shower that she will love. All I know is that she wants the colors yellow and gray...seriously??? They know the baby is a boy....any ideas on where to start sticking with that color theme? Thanks!
Re: baby shower supplies
Google, yellow and gray baby shower, https://www.google.com/search?q=yellow+and+gray++baby+shower&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
and you will get photos and links to ideas.
I didn't really look at anything, but one said something about an elephant theme which may be cute.
good luck.
Daffodils! They are inexpensive, bright, and cheerful and should be available in April. Put them in a clear glass vases with a gray satin ribbons tied around them :-)
I'm not really a crepe paper/balloons type of person, but if that's what you think she'd like, I'm sure that Party City would have yellow and gray (or at least silver) plates, napkins, balloons, etc.
Check out Pinterest for ideas, too...I've seen a lot of yellow and gray nursery pictures pinned on there and it's really pretty.
I did a quick search on Pinterest and found a bunch of cute ideas. Good luck!!

Do you have a camera that can do a color focus (my completely untechnical term) or access to one? Could you take some photos of baby things (stuffed animals, rattles, onesies, etc. ) in black and white with pop of yellow and frame them as decorations?
I love the elephant idea too.
