do you use night diapers?? ***poll included***

my 2 year old does, but my 6 month old isn't. i forgot when we started using them.  then i talk to moms that don't use night diapers at all--just a regular.  i have noticed the regular dipe holds quite a bit.

hmmmm....what to do...

    We never used them - he went through a period where he leaked occasionally, but we were okay with the regular diapers as long as they were put on correctly and tight enough.

    We started using them when she started leaking through her cloth diapers (with hemp inserts) and exploding regular diapers (what a mess!).

    When Emily started STTN but was still on bottles, she needed an overnight. There's just SO much liquid going in and out of them! Then when she was off bottles, she went through a period where she was fine with a regular diaper at night. Now we're back to overnights at night because she's potty trained during the day. So when she does go at night, it's A LOT all at once and a normal diaper was having her waking up in wet jammies = mommy doesn't get as much sleep.

    DD will go through periods of needing an overnight diaper but 99% of the time she is fine with a regular one.

    Yes, we do (both cloth and disposable), but didn't until he was STTN.

    I'm so glad you asked this! I have been wondering the same thing. I really don't remember when we started using an overnight diaper with C, but he still sometimes will even leak through the overnight diaper (definitely not showing signs of PT readiness ;-)
    E is still using regular diapers at night but she even has leaked through sometimes so we may switch her soon.
