Frustrated!!!

Today we had our anatomy scan and the baby is looking great.  Perfectly healthy, measuring on target and all is well.  This is excellent news. 

My frustation...they couldn't tell the sex.  Baby kept it's legs crossed the whole scan and bless her heart the woman tried to get the kid to move, but it would not cooperate at all.  My daughter is 7 months old and I am a big planner.  I was really hoping to find out the gender so we could start working on the nursery to be prepared.  Now it looks like I will be waiting another month before my next ultrasound.  I am very greatful everything looks so good, but annoyed I don't know what to plan for.

Married 8/23/09 Dx: Endometriosis mc 2003, mc 2005, mc Oct. 2009 and ectopic pg Feb. 2010 Baby Girl Gracie Mae born 5 weeks early on 7/6/11. Baby boy JT born full term on 7/5/12. We are blessed!

    I'm a huge planner, too, but being team green isn't hindering hubby's and my plans whatsoever, and we don't feel any less prepared. We know what we want to do with the nursery, and we even bought a few major necessities (high chair, stroller, crib, et cetera) this past weekend. One of my friends actually posed a pretty good argument to me yesterday-- if you're that much of a planner, you'd go gender neutral for most things in the event that you have more children, then you can reuse what you already have. Just saying.

    I am the same exact way!! And sure enough, my little one wouldn't show us the bits. Me and my inpatient self booked a gender scan at our local prenatel peek. The first visit, they still couldn't tell...legs crossed, tucked under, etc...so she ask me to come back the next week and right away, she knew it was a girl!!

    For me, the $75.00 was worth it and well spent because....

    1) I got another two ultrasounds and oppurtunity to see her!

    2) It was an appointment focused 100% on finding out the gender. They would have me come back as many times as it took for no additional charge.

    I am so worried about not being able to find out the sex at my a/s next week!! I am keeping my fingers crossed that the baby cooperates!
