Neocate

My ped sent my 2 month old to an allergist as her blood in her stool still has not cleared after one month on Alimentum. I tried giving her the Neocate and she screamed and would not drink it. 

 Any suggestions for how to get her to drink it. I read to mix it with the Alimentum. How man days does it take for her to take it fully? 

Also, my allergist said that once the blood is clear, I can try to incorporate 1 oz of breast milk into 3 oz Alimentum and work my way up. Has anyone had success with this? I am currently dairy and soy free and will try to limit egg as well.

    Just keep offering it to her. Mix it with alimentum and slowly increase. It's hard but you don't really have any other option. GL!

    i have successfully weaned her onto 100% Neocate. It only took a few days. She now drinks it happily. 

     I'm hoping that I can start to mix in some breast milk soon.
