TTC #1 at 38 with Fertility Blend

Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself.  I'm Sabrina. DH and I have been TTC for 15 years.  Dr's don't know why we are having trouble, DH and I are in perfect baby making health, but for some unexplained reason, I often fail to ovulate.  The only thing my fertility specialist suggested is that I loose a bit of weight (I was 40 lbs over at the time) and for my DH to quite smoking (he did 4 years ago).  Two years ago I did a single month of clomid, but since my insurance stopped covering my fertility specialist visits the moment I filled my prescription, it was my only round of clomid.  My cycles were never really stable.  Last year I switched to a healthier lifestyle and lost 25 lbs.  For about 6 months I had regular 30 day cycles but in the last couple of months my cycles have started to disappear again.  As of right now my last period was on jan 3 (and I mean on jan 3 - 1 hour of light bleeding).  I've taken two pregnancy tests since, both BFN. Today I began Fertility Blend in hopes of finally triggering AF and a new cycle.  But sucess or not I refuse to give up until menopause!

    TTC since 10/09 Me-43 DH-44 RE and testing 10/10-11/10, Recommending IVF 1/11 New RE AMA and DOR-DH low motility IVF #1.1 cancelled 3/11 due to poor response IVF #1.2 May 2011, one perfect 8-cell embryo, 3dt-BFN, IVF #2.1 Converted to IUI d/t poor response. New RE 9/2011. IVF 2.2 completed using HGH,EPP,DHEA, Q-10 and accupuncture. Transferred one 8-cell, grade one embryo on 10/19. BFP 10/31/11 Chemical pregancy on 11/2/11. Started stims for IVF #3, our final try, on 12-2-11. ET on 12/18. Transferred 3 Grade A embryos-BFFN Planning DE IVF, late March/early April- Donors ER expected to be 4/2-4/4. PAIF/SAIF welcome

    Welcome.  

    Have you been tested for PCOS?  My cycles were irregular and I don't have the typical cysts but they diagnosed me with PCOS due to my androgen levels in my bloodwork.  Usually, they treat it with Metformin but I had some issues with my liver values that they suspect were from Met.  I now do acupuncture every week and have consistently ovulated. I also get treated for migraines with acupuncture.  Anyway, hope your stay here is brief.  :)

    Thanks everyone.  I was tested for PCOS, but I actually only get the occasional cyst.  My body just doesn't prepare to release the egg.  Two years ago a couple of tests indicated that I may have already gone through early menopause, but then I lost the weight and my cycles kickstarted again.  I'm hoping that the Fertility Blend helps.  hopefully it's just a vitamin deficiency.

    Welcome and good luck to you!  I'm new here as well - going on 38 this year and been TTC for over a year now......it sounds like you're on the right path with weight loss, etc.....hope the Fertility Blend works for you, keep us posted!  I've read that sometimes it's something that simple (vitamins) that can keep us from conceiving!

    TTC Since December 2010 Pet parent to an 8.5-month-old Stafford - lots of energy! :) Dx: mild endo, uterine polyps Hysteroscopy/Lap done in August 2011 HSG done Sept. 2011 - possible right blocked tube *Lots of uncertainty which is why I'm seeking out a new RE* 50mg + TI + October/November 2011 = BFN Wound up with cysts - sat part of cycle out - started BP and 2 weeks in got my "real" period - "forced" next cycle on 50mg Clomid + 2 B2B IUI's = BFN March 2012 - 2 B2B IUI's + prog. = BFN Took a break - went on vacation June 2012 - tried "on our own" with no medical intervention, NFP only BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 7/17/12 Visit The Nest!     HI I am fairly new to this. I have been TTC for 3 years now. I was on BC since I was 16 to regulate my periods and now I am 31. I quit taking BC 3 years ago. I was diagnosed with HA and have tried 2 rounds of fertility shots. First time I did get pregnant but had a miscarriage, 2nd time my body didn't respond. Sad I have had FB in my cubbard that I bought last year but never tried. I just started taking it yesterday and noticed that my breasts are sore. Has anyone had that side effect? I was just wondering if anyone has taken FB and had any good or bad results with having HA.
