Mardi Gras
I'm not really big into Mardi Gras, but someone brought a king cake to our staff meeting at work today, and I ended up getting the piece with the baby. It really creeped me out, since I think my baby is about the same size as the little plastic toy...Kind of like when I get updates about how my baby's the size of xyz fruit, and I get totally turned off of eating that fruit.

Laissez bon temps roulez! I love Mardi Gras! Been off all week for it down here (since I do live in the city Mardi Gras originated in), but I will be glad when today's done. End of Mardi Gras down here = beginning of warm weather, and I for one cannot wait.
We celebrate Fasnacht/ Paczki Day today! It's the Pennsylvania Dutch / Polish (I am both ethnicities) version of Donut Day, which is Fat / Shrove Tuesday. My California oworkers were pleasantly surprised with treats from me today, and they now LOVE Fasnacht Day!
