Eviction date has been set!
Just left my 39w2d appointment and while I was initially disappointed that I haven't made any progress from last week (still 3 cm and 80% effaced) the doctor allowed DH and I to pick an induction date!
While 2/29 was tempting, we aren't that mean, so we picked 2/28, when I will be 40w3d. DH's birthday is 2/22 and my birthday is 8/28, so we picked a mixture of our birthdays.
So excited to have an end in sight finally! Of course, I am really crossing my fingers that I will go into labor naturally before then!

Just wondering why you are choosing to induce so early? We are not even considering induction until 41w3d and even then if all is well we will be pushing for 42w...I would never choose the pit over spontaneous labour only a few days past my due date.
My original due date was 2/15 based on my LMP. The first ultrasound I had at 12 weeks they measured me as being due 2/25 so they pushed my due date back. At my 36 week appointment, they were measuring me two weeks ahead. My doctor said that I was going to have a "big baby" (my DH was a 10 pounder) so she felt comfortable offering me an induction next week.
