What's in the crib?

I was wondering if anyone had started using toddler bedding in their crib yet? We have given him a pillow with a pillow case and numerous blankets because he like to snuggle with some and cover up with others. My SIL bought toddler sets for our nephews at this age and I am just wondering what everyone else was doing?

We have the quilt that came with the crib set, the two little decorative pillows from the crib set, 4-5 stuffed animals at the foot of the crib, a couple of extra blankets for cold nights, his FP seahorse and his lovey. If he wakes up early he will play with a stuffed animal for a few moments before fussing to get out of the crib.

She has two pacis, two loveys, and two stuffed animals. She'll be moving rooms soon and I am making her a blanket to go with the new theme. I don't feel like the quilts that come with baby bedding are big enough for toddlers.

I started letting her use a blanket around 1, and she likes to snuggle it underneath her. No pillow yet, not sure when we will do that.

Sort of related...I wish I hadnt went all out on the bedding. I never once used the bumpers, because they weren't breathable. At this point, I don't see the point since she will try to climb on them. Its a shame. lol

She has her blanket, a doll and a stuffed scentsy animal that still smells delightful after a whole year of being loved on. Seriously I kind of wish I had one to sleep with.

DD has a small pillow, big teddy bear, two stuffed animals, and a few loveys. Oh and I just use a fleece blanket to cover her up.

DS has a blanket and a dog head and arms blanky thingy that rattles (don't know the official name for that) in his crib.

Nothing except a smallish super soft blanket. When he wakes up everything that would be in the crib would then be thrown out of the crib so there's no use! Once he's done sleeping that blanket ends up on the floor too.

A couple pacis, her Fisher Price Seahorse, a taggy blanket that she sleeps on top of, and once in awhile I'll cover her up. I feel like I should cover her up or have a blanket in there for her but she never actually stays covered up and like MrsL said, it all ends up on the floor the next morning anyways.
