Insurance ?

Anybody have Aetna and delivering at Bellevue in Niskayuna or have in the past? Just trying to figure out what to expect with hospital and OB bills. Thanks

    If you call your insurance company they are usually pretty good at going over estimated costs.  When i was pregnant with DS i did that it was pretty helpful.

    I was going to do that. I just changed insurance companies in January. I know they tell you the info but I feel like there is always some loophole and they will have you end up paying for certain things they say are covered. I was justo wondering if someone had already gone through this so I could get an idea. Thanks

    In think that the issue is more what kind of plan your employer uses... I am sure that Aetna offers different coverages/different plans/deductibles/etc.

    So what is covered for one person may not be covered for another... A better idea would be to see if someone else in your company recently had a baby, and ask what their costs were...
