What do you think? My husband loves the name brooklyn, I like it but am not 100% sold on any of these...

Love Alyssa. We considered it (with a nn Allie) if this one was a girl. I kind of like Briana too.

Cameron (esp. with that spelling) is a boy's name to me.

I really dislike Brooklyn...it always sounds trashy to me kinda like Crystal. Maybe because the names have a harsh sound? I prefer Cameron for a boy. Alyssa is NMS. Lauren is nice but I like Laura better.

As a Brooklyn resident, all I can think of is the borough when I hear the name. I really dislike it on a baby girl.

Out of your choices I'd definitely go with Lauren.

I hate it. Alyssa, Lauren, and even Cameron are much, much better. I'm pronouncing Briana like "Brian-ah" based on how you spelled it so I'm going to say no to that one.

I absolutely 100% despise the name Brooklyn. It's my #1 nails on a chalkboard name.

I beg you to go with Alyssa or Lauren - both beautiful.

I am not a fan of Brooklyn, but at the least I greatly prefer it to variants like Brookelynn.

I actually like Brooklyn, and its not a stripper name. I know a few little girls and three 20-something girls with the name Brooklyn. None of them are anywhere close to strippers, and a name does not determine your career. I live in Ohio so I dont think of the city when I hear Brooklyn.

I grew up with 4 girls; all names Lauren. I would suggest changing the way you spell it for example I spell my name Lauryn and I've also seen it spelled Laurin.

Just to give your baby an uncommon twist on a very common name. Lauren/Laura is so common that my husband's twin brother married a girl name Laura. Yup, the twins married lauryn and laura

I know I'm in the small minority on here, but I've never minded the name Brooklyn. I wouldn't use it myself, but I don't dislike it. Of your choices, I would choose Lauren.

Not a fan of the name Brooklyn. I went to school with a girl named Brooklyn and she was kind of a Barbie doll airhead so that's what I associate with the name. I like Lauren, Alyssa and Briana much better. Cameron is nms, but I'd use it over Brooklyn.
