At this point, Addy fluctuates her own napping so much that I couldn't even begin to get her on a napping schedule. Some days she'll just catnap through the day, and some days she's back to newborn-level hardcore epic naps. For now, we just let it roll. Neither napping style messes up her night sleep, so I haven't seen a reason to change it yet.
I have, however, started putting her in her bed if she shows signs of getting tired and is fighting it too much since her crib is for sleeping only. That tends to help on the fussing/fighting sleep days. Sometimes.

I try really hard to put him down for naps at the same times every day. He has been having trouble getting to sleep, but he will eventually get to sleep after some kicking/waving and maybe a little bit of whining.
Only our morning nap is consistent right now. DD will go down about 2hrs after waking in the morning (which varies still) and sleep for 2-3hrs. She normally naps in her swing in her nursery or in her carseat. Eventually, I'm going to put her carseat in her crib to let her know that is where naps are "supposed" to happen. She does sleep in her crib 90% of the time at night. DD normally goes to bed around 7-8pm mainly because she is showing signs of sleepiness.
My LO naps pretty regularly at from about 8-10 (sometimes only for an hour in that time frame) and again from 12-2ish. It's not a set in stone time, but more up for a couple hours, eat, and then nap cycle. As soon as she falls asleep or looks sleepy, I put her in her crib. Good luck!
GREAT question- thanks for asking. My LO doesn't nap consistently at all and I was wondering how much I should enforce a routine.... He cat naps most times between feedings but never for more than an hour most of the times 30 minutes or less. I can get him to sleep in his crib SOMETIMES but not normally and never without being swaddled. If he cat naps it is never at the same time so I can't help but its good to know someone else is going through this too!!! I try not to complain since LO sleeps 8-5:30-6 consistently.

This is us also. Her waking up time and bedtime remains pretty constant so I don't stress about it. Eventually I bet she will settle into a more predictable naptime routine.
Ds has sort of started setting a routine for himself. He wakes around 6-7, awake for 1-1.5 hours, then nap for an hour or so. If we are home and not out in the car or stroller (where he will always sleep) then he does an afternoon nap around 2-3pm for another hour or two. Bedtime is around 8:30-9:00, which takes about an hour.
Today is the first time he has slept longer than 15 min in his crib for a nap!
