baby trend sit n stand double....

Does anyone have this stroller or have any opinions?

My DD will be 18 months old when DD2 is born.  I'd like one that is a double stroller that will convert into a sit n stand later one when DD1 is a little older.  At least that is what people tell me I will want!  :)

Any other recs?

TIA

Re: baby trend sit n stand double....

  • I've been looking at that one and the double sit n stand One Step Ahead offers.  Check theirs out, too.  I'm not sure which direction I'm going to take.  Right now I think I'm just going to wait a bit, maybe until the baby is here, to make a decision.

  • This is the one we want to get too, but we haven't been to Babys R Us to get it yet (the nearest one is 5 hours away).  I think it is a great one because the back seat is removable and all the reviews I've read are positive so hears hoping I still like it when we check it out!

  • I recently bought a used one that had actually barely been used.  I ended up re-selling it.  I had my baby and a baby that I take care of--both are about 23 lbs each.  I found it to onerous and unwieldy.  I was on a sidewalk that was slightly slanted, and it took me in the direction of the slant, and was SO difficult to get back in the direction I needed it to.  It was heavy with the two boys in it.  It was like a big bus.  Maybe others had a better experience.  Just wanted to share mine.

  • Sit and stand plus. The second seat converts into a bench when the second child is old enough to use it. This is the plus model, larger than standard smaller than the double.

  • I have that stroller and i actually find it easy to maneuver, though not as easy as a side-by-side. I don't use the "stand" part yet; I still have the rear seat on. It works just fine for me.

  • I have that one and I love it.  It works great, is light enough, easy to handle and folds down to a reasonable size.  I like that right now I have DD in the carseat and DS in the regular seat and can upgrade her seat to regular and his to sit n stand whenever they are ready without effecting the other child.  I highly recommend it.

ETA:  I have the Plus model.
