Hospital bill vent (update)

So I called the insurance company today, to learn that only one bill is incorrect, the rest have been paid like they are supposed to, however the radiologist billed them as an ovarian cyst not a m/c (I refuse to use the medical term). I called the billing department of the hospital and the woman said she didn't know how to fix it, so she has to speak to a supervisor and call me back. How difficult is it to re-bill with the correct billing code??
BFP #1 11/27/11 EDD 08/08/12 M/C 01/27/12 12 wks 2 days
BFP #2 04/25/12 EDD 01/04/13(?) confirmed ectopic 05/16/12 6 wks 5 days 2 doses of MTX-Lost left tube on 05/25/12 Back to TTC, earlier than originally expected.
BFP #3 01/05/13 EDD 09/17/13 u/s 1/24/13-great appt, measuring 2 days ahead, NT scan 3/11/13-great scan measuring 4 days ahead, A/S 4/29/13-another great scan can't wait to meet my baby BOY!!!!!

    UGH!! How annoying! I went through this too with all my medical bills! All of my bills were paid (thank god) But 2 bills kept coming to my house for bloodwork (the $ they get to poke me is astronomical!) It took 3 different times between calling the insurance company & the Dr to find out that the DR office never submitted the bills bc they didn't have my insurance info on file!!! umm? you submitted so many other bills for m/c with all the same insurance info, you really could not match that up? Stupid people! Amazes me how some of them are employed! Hope you can get that all straightened out! ((hugs))

    I am dealing with the same type of issue so apparently it must be really hard to get the correct billing code and resend it to the insurance company.  I'm so frustrated I could scream!

    So they are fixing it. I almost flipped out on the one woman, I seriously think they thought I was emotionally unstable, so they took pity on my and said it would be fixed today.

    It's so frustrating! I'm still fighting over bills from my D&C back in October. I've cried on the phone to them too, they must think I'm a crazy person. But, don't feel bad, there's nothing like trying to move on and getting reminders everyday in the mail. I hope you get it all worked out soon.

    I basically yelled at the billing person when she said, but the er notes said you had an ovarian cyst. I flipped out and said I don't give a crap about the er notes, I know there was a cyst found, but I had a MISCARRIAGE! I lost it when she said oh a spontaneous abortion (I hate that that is the medical term for what we have to suffer through).
