Diaper Bags....

Can you ladies recommend a good diaper bag? I really don't like carrying both a diaper bag and a purse. I have thought about buying a large purse and using it as both, or putting a small clutch inside of the larger purse so that if I am running to the store by myself or something I can just pull it out and use it by itself. The downside to this is I am not sure DH would like to be carrying a large purse when he is carrying the diaper bag. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

I have the JJ Cole Swag Bag and use it as a diaper bag and purse and have received tons of compliments. I love it! I just carry my wallet, cell phone and then it comes with a little purse that I put my lip gloss and compact in but it works for me. Here's a link to it:

and I just have a clutch that has card slots and a section for cash and I can even put my phone in it if i need to. I put it in the outside pocket of the bag

I am here to agree as well. It is a great size bag. I toss my wallet in there and I am ready to go.

This for me as well. I also have the Vera Turnlock wallet- between that and my keys/lipstick/powder/etc- I use the bag as both purse and diaper bag. Once we start daycare, we have a second Eddie Bauer diaper bag that will stay with the baby. I'll keep it stocked with the basics and DH will load it up with the bottles, etc for each day and then leave it at DC with LO and I'll bring it home when I pick her up. Otherwise, whenever we're together, mine purse/diaper bag is what we use.
I'll warn you though- the Vera Baby Bag carries so much, it can get heavy. But it's worth it to me considering I'm also going to need to take a laptop bag and breast pump stuff to work and there's no way I could carry 4 bags...

This exactly! I just have to remember to take my clutch OUT of the diaper bag when I go out without LO and don't take the diaper bag! I've had to go back for it twice already!
I have a Ju Ju Be Behave and love it!! I have the steel/lilac combo. It looks like a purse but is ALL machine washable and not a crazy pattern that yells 'diaper bag'
It can go over the shoulder or can be a messanger too.
