I know, I know I'm a pest....

But I posted this morning and nobody replied and I really need some insight. DD has an ear infection(again) and has been on meds since Wed. According to our previous experience I feel like she should be feeling some relief by now. Since Saturday she's been moaning and whining non stop. She is teething and has no teeth yet. Considering all other signs I think they are about to pop (god willing) any minute. Has anyone one had experience with the moaning and whining and do you think it has to do with the teething/ear infection? I know some babes get teeth with no problem but are there ones who went through hell?

  • Thanks I did actually. I guess I'm looking for someone who can relate to the moaning and whining thing. She seems like she's in a lot of pain and it's breaking my heart and if I know it's because of the teeth then at least I know it's almost over. Thanks for your time:)
  • No problem. I think she is teething. Have you checked her gums to see if anything looks like it will be coming through? Poor baby I hope this passes soon.

  • I hope lo feels better soon, sorry you and lo are having a tough time! If you don't notice relief like you did on the last ear infection I would make an appt. with the dr. just to be sure.

  • For the pain, I would give Baby Tylenol. For the teething, I would use Hyland teething tablets. Both work wonders hand in hand. GL!

thanks. Can I use them at the same time?
  • The weekend we actually had the teeth come through was torture. DS whined and moaned all weekend, even with a paci in his mouth. Thankfully it was only 2 days of torture and then bam..2 teeth. Since you already have an ear infection issue, I would call the doc to make sure that's going away before you just chalk it up to the teething.

Yes. I actually use "Little Fevers" instead of baby Tylenol, but both work fine.
