Anyone CDing a 40lb+ toddler or one over 35 even? They are out of the Bum Genuis 4.0.

Re: Cloth Diapering Over 40 lbs

  • I'm diapering a 35 pounder.

He has grown out of all one-size diapers besides Sweetpea and Happy Heiny (which run large) and then he fits in size large Fuzzibunz and Charlie Banana, and size 2 Thirsties and AppleCheeks. That's all that fits him.

  • Mother ease, toddler ease is what we use over nights. Work great!

  • My DS is 30lbs. Thirsties duo diaper & fuzzibunz large fit the best on him. I also use flip and bum genius 4.0.
  • Thanks guys. I am going to try the Happy Heiney and Thirsties for day. I also found out that Fuzzi sells an XL size if you look hard enough. I have never seen the Sandy's before for night time. So we're trying that too. I am so sick of washing sheets every morning, Hopefully this helps.

  • My DD was still CDed at about 34-35 lbs and FB size Large fit great with room to grow. For some reason ones that I bought more recently (in the newer colors that came out in a past couple years) were not nearly as large as the ones I got on clearance (still square tab newer version) and fit more like a medium, so hopefully you can find some of the more generously cut ones.
