more accidents at school...

H has had a peepee accident at school each day for the last 4 days :( two today (one while he was asleep). They said he was peeing a lot today, like a lot more than normal. I haven't noticed any difference at home. 

Think something is up or just growing adjustments?

    My first reaction is to ask if he has had more liquid intake than usual. Second thought is a stressor of some sort that he is subconsciously reacting to?

    I forgot you were due with another one soon when I posted the above. Now I feel sure it's probably the stress of the new baby coming & he not knowing how to react to it. Honestly, I've seen that more often than not.

    I was thinking it might be baby related, but it also might be school related. LAst week was when we started up the sticker charts again b/c he stopped napping at school and he was having some listening trouble.

    I don't think he's drinking more than normal.

    clueless mommy here, off to google symptoms :

    I looked it up and I could say yes to most of the symptoms. I should phone the pedi tomorrow and see if we can get in.

    Typically they would just take a urine sample and test it.

    pee in a cup type thing? I can handle that for sure. I had thoughts of the giant q-tip coming out :

    Yeah, at least for adults it's just a pee in a cup test.

    I saw an over the counter UTI test at CVS a few weeks ago that I was intrigued by.  I don't know how well they work but maybe it's worth looking into to save a copay?

    I'm just going to call tomorrow and see if we can get in after his speech therapy.

    he had an uber meltdown tonight over nothing so it feels like something is wacky with him.
