LO still hates to eat at home although he seems to eat fine at daycare. One difference is that he's in a space saver at home and a regular high chair at dcp. Before I go buy a new high chair I want to see if my theory is at all likely.
Does anyone near me (Silver Spring) have a non-Fisher Price space saver chait I could borrow for a day or two?

I'd offer ours, but it's in serious need of a deep clean...
You're still welcome to it, though.
I just wanted to chime in because we had a space saver and switched to a regular high chair around 9 months and it was SO worth it. DS is much more comfortable in it and the tray is at a better height for him to grab food. We still use the space saver at my parents house and there is definitely a difference.
FWIW I also love the regular high chair - it is so much easier to get him in/out, the tray has an insert that goes right in the dishwasher, and it is easier to move around than the space saver. We got the Graco Blossom off of bumpie recs and are really happy with it.
GL!
We're in College Park, and I'd be happy to loan you one (or two, lol!). They're the Safety 1st AdapTable ones if you want to look it up (I'm on my phone or I'd send a link).
ETA, since I'm back home now:

I don't have a pic of the whole chair, but here's the color (kind of a dark teal and tan combo)...
I cleaned them pretty well with Clorox wipes before I put them away. The height is adjustable and there's a tray liner that pops out to go in the dishwasher (though we never really used that part much since we couldn't fit two in the dishwasher at once).
