So I kinda suck at cooking - opinions?

I really am awful at cooking, for some reason I just can't do it lol.

Anyways, I just put bone in ribs in the crockpot with a bottle of BBQ sauce, and a little water so it doesn't dry out. I set it on low. Does this even sound like it'll be good? I'm going to make rice and veggies later with it, but I didn't even think to look up a recipe lol.

  • Yup - should be delish!

A couple other (super easy) crockpot gems:

-Chicken tacos (frozen chicken breasts or leg/thighs, a jar of salsa and packet of taco seasoning. Low for 8 hours. Serve in tacos with tacos stuff - cheese, lettuce, sour cream).

-Tangy meatballs (frozen meatballs, some grape jelly, heinz chili sauce on low for 8 or high for 3-4. Serve with rice.)

Grape jelly huh? I'm going to try that. :) Thanks.

  • Sounds like they should come out good. Just make sure to keep them in long enough so they are not tough.

    Another easy one.....

    1 pork tenderloin

    1 can of root beer

a bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce

Low for 8 hours, shred pork with a fork, makes awesome BBQ pulled pork

My crockpot is my best friend when it comes to super easy recipes.

  • Sounds very yummy!!  Just check the crockpot once in awhile so it doesn't dry out.  You might need to add a little water once in awhile if you didn't put enough in at first.  Good luck.  Crockpot recipes are the best.  Super easy.
  • It's my opinion that you pretty much can't go wrong with a crock pot recipe or casseroles! Campbellskitchen.com has really easy recipes! And eatingwell.com is personally my favorite, but some are a little more complicated but well worth the effort!
