My kids will be 23 months apart. My DD is not too fond of the stroller to begin with as she loves to walk, but will sit for short periods of time as long as we are moving. I think I need to get something that I can use mostly as a single, but if I need to have both kids in the stroller at once I can adapt. I know everyone seems to love the Baby Jogger City Select, but I found it to be a bit cumbersome in doubles mode (I only used it once with my DD and a friend's DD.)
I have read amazing things about the UppaBaby Vista and was thinking that if I could just get the Rumble seat it might fit my needs. Any experience/feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Re: UppaBaby Vista with Rumble Seat
I'll be interested in seeing the responses.
We have the UPV and love it. Unfortunately, I have read bad reviews about the rumble seat. My 2 will be 15 months apart so I am not sure if we will try the rumble seat or just get a higher rated double stroller.

Please keep your LOs RF as long as possible
We are in the same boat and we just bought the seat over the weekend. Check out some of the reviews on amazon.com, some are actually positive. In our case we typically use the UBV for less then an hour at a time, and DD doesn't nap in it now so the no recline isn't a huge issue.I also plan to put DS in a carrier/ergo for some of our walks.
I'll try come back and post here or the gear board in a few weeks after we put in use. (Though maybe we'll take it for a "test drive" sooner, but need to check if you can use the RS without the weight of the full seat).
I figure it made sense to give the rumble seat a shot since it was a relatively cheap option (compared to a totally new double). We tried DD in the second seat at Buy Buy Baby and she seemed pretty happy in it, using one of the 20% off coupons came to about $80, so not bad at all.
It seems like every week that goes by DD likes her other (umbrella) stroller less and less, prefers walking and is getting better and better at it. I was also considering the City Mini but realize it is way wide and DD probably wouldn't like being so low to the ground.
I had also wanted to get the boogie board but she is still a little small for that, could definitely see trying that out when she is closer to 2.5-3.
Thanks for the info! Definitely come back and give us a review!
Looks like there are a bunch of us who are interested in it.
