Anyone replace BG inserts

in Eco-Friendly Family
with a natural fiber insert and find BG happiness?  I haven't had too many problems with my BGs, but I can see that MF can become an issue.  DD has had a couple bouts of diaper rash and I'm wondering if an insert change might help!

    I"m planning on it - I've had to strip more times than I can count and recently my microfiber ammonia build up gave ds an ammonia burn (99% sure of this). I've been stuffing with prefolds and a couple doublers for now but I'm thinking of whipping up some bamboo inserts shortly. My multi layer hemp also gets ammonia stink and I've read that it's common - not as bad as mf stink but after the issue the other night, I'm not taking any chances.

    i fold up my old infant prefolds and use them because my mf ones are retaining ammonia smells.  they are bulkier that way but no smell issues!

    I still use microfiber but I put it over a hemp insert (absorbs way more this way). We only use our pockets at night so I don't think there's much trouble with ammonia build up.

    I don't have BGs anymore, but I recommend the inserts from ArtsyFartsyFooFoo.  I use them in my GADs.
