For my 14 month old DS we use Burts Bees bodywash or Cetaphil all over (he doesn't have that much hair) but for my 4 year old DD who has a ton of hair I use Cetaphil on her body (very sensitive skin) and Jason's Kids shampoo and conditioner. I'm trying out Kiss My Face Whenever Shamp/Cond when I am done with those bottles. She has a tree nut allergy and prone to eczema so I have to be careful with what I use on her.
We use Burts Bees for DD's body and am using up the rest of the J&J shampoo we have for her hair. The Burts Bees is for hair and body but when I tried to use it for her hair it resembled a bird nest.
I think when this bottle is gone we'll just start using Dove or Suave Kids on her hair.
I love the Suave for kids. We tried California Baby on her, but it left her hair so dry and frizzy that I couldn't get a comb through her hair. The Suave Kids has conditioner in it so it leaves her curls soft and not frizzy. I love it! And it smells so good, like coconut.
Re: what is your favoritle toddler shampoo?
I use the target up&up or whatever compared to johnson & johnson's purple bottle, night time calming whatever it is. If that makes sense.
I just like the smell of it. Target brand is just as good (in white bottle) and much cheaper.
Burt's Bees baby wash/shampoo.
Ever since I read that crap about J&J I switched.

There are a lot of studies done that show that J&J is actually very bad for any skin.
We use Yes to Baby Carrots or CA Baby Super Sensitive.
