DS has a day off of preschool soon, and a group of us froms school were planning to take the kids to Port Discovery for the day. Looking around on here, I saw the Playseum mentioned, and though it says it is for 1-11 (I think that is what it said), is it fun for 5 yr olds? In my search, seems like most comments were regarding 1-3 yr olds. Any advice on which is more fun would be greatly appreciated!!
Re: Playseum question- 4/5yr olds?
I've been to the one in DC, and I think it would be great for 4/5 year olds. I've taken my daughter (2 yo) and while she loved it, she didn't even scratch the surface of all you can do there. It's really just an amazing space with many different pretend play spaces, all with their own dress up, props and other activities. They also have "extras" that you can pay for -- I think the kids can bake their own cupcake or get their nails done or something like that.
I've also been to Port Discovery, and it's similar in concept, on a much larger scale. And, the central climbing structure would probably be fun for the bigger kids.
is this what you guys are talking about? https://www.playseum.com/adventures.html
