Long Distance Baby Shower

My SIL is currently 25 weeks pregnant. My Brother is off at Marine Corps Bootcamp & all of our family is in Missisippi/Louisiana area. My SIL really doesn't have a lot of friends in this area. Does anyone have any ideas for throwing her a "long distance" baby shower, or any other fun/cute ideas? Gift Card shower? etc.?

    The GCs sound like a good idea.  Or does she have some registry stuff that is online-only?  Maybe that is a fun chance to have people pitch in and get her stuff that isn't available in the store.  Or maybe y'all can shower her with a GC to a spa for a day of pampering (prenatal massage, prenatal pedicure, etc.)?  I haven't personally had this problem, so I hope this helps!  :)

    What about doing a Skype shower?  Kinda lame, but people could send her gifts to get to her house by a certain date and then she could open them and thank everyone "in-person" and they can all comment on how beautiful she looks, etc. :)  Gift cards are awesome too, maybe have all the "guests" send a letter welcoming the new baby?
