Yep, I'm turning out to be one of those women who's having so much nausea in the 1st trimester that all I can eat is carbs... and it's showing! I'm not upset or worried about it - I know it's healthy as long as I keep in under control. It's just crazy because my BF is pregnant too, 8 weeks ahead of me, and we've gained the same amount of weight. I'm pretty petite and not talking mega lbs here, but believe me - this is not my little raspberry causing my tight pants...
Off to buy some chips...
Re: Getting fat
I am right there with you, but I"m not petite...it's still bad though.
I swore up and down I would eat healthier with my second pregnancy and I just can't. I got nauseous looking at a banana the other day - and I normally LOVE bananas. I eat bagels for breakfast (at least it's not the huge ones, but a store sized one) sandwiches for lunch and carbs at dinner too - pizza, pasta, etc.
The 2 times I tried to eat a salad - once for lunch and once for dinner, I had a terrible taste in my mouth after, was burping up LETTUCE, and felt awful.
I am praying this only lasts a couple more weeks and by 2nd tri I am living on fruit and grilled meat all summer!
Wait someone mentioned chips!

Carbs used to be the only thing that would settle my stomach but now that is causing it to become upset.. Oy
But now chips really sound yummy!
2.0 is on the way! EDD: 2/24/15
Tortellini sounds AMAZING!! I have been really bad ... I eat my health breakfast (Fruit/yogurt) and then go for my hubby's bagel w/ cream cheese.
This continues at dinner too.
Talking about chips, tonight's dinner is Chilaquiles!! What better way to celebrate President's day then to make our President's favorite meal.
