Feedback PLEASE

Recently, most of what I post has been viewed, but no responses. If I'm doing something to annoy you, I'm oblivious to it, so please let me know. I've been an avid reader of these boards for years, although I've only recently started posting. I'm still learning all the abbreviations & can only hope one day to be as savvy as all of you!

I looked at a few of your most recent original posts, and didn't see anything off putting, imo.

I can't speak for the whole board but, for me, speaking of what you asked for in your other posts, I just couldn't add anything relevant. :-) Sometimes, I'll open a post, realize just that, and not respond at all. Nothing personal or wrong.

This, exactly. Sometimes, posts are opened (upping the count) and rather that replying, "Hmm...nothing to add here," folks just close the post w/o responding.

Don't worry about it. It's been slow lately, especially on weekends. Also people may read your post but if they don't feel they have anything they can contribute, they don't reply.

I agree with Noelia. I don't see anything in your posts that looks wrong or annoying. I think sometimes the board just moves kind of slow. I know it sucks when no one replies to you though! I hope it doesn't stop you from continuing to post

Ditto the others... and sometimes I'm bumping from my phone while in a waiting room or at a red light (oops) and can't answer right away. I'm a lot more likely to reply or post if I'm at work than if I'm away from a desktop computer.

Same here - except the waiting at a red light part... I'd NNEEEVVVEEERRRR do that! ;-) Actually, we only have a desktop at home, and it's in our office on the opposite side of the house from our 'living area'. So while I'm home on maternity leave, I mostly just read posts from my phone and don't reply because I find it a giant PITA to post from my phone. So I wait until I have a chance to sit at the computer, which is next to never lately. I do know how you feel, though, and like someone else said - please don't take it personally or let it stop you from participating!

Ditto everyone! I go through periods where I'm interested in some topics and totally uninterested in others, and then it flips. Sometimes I wish we had a 'like' button to show solidarity or empathy even if we don't have anything to add.

Agreed! I suppose I must spend too much time on FB, because all too often when I'm reading posts on the bump, I find myself starting to click "Like" on a post or reply... before I remember there is no such button on here. There really needs to be.

for me to make it worth replying on my phone. I know how you feel when your post gets viewed and there is no response though.
