Time is creeping by

I didnt think this would happen till the last couple weeks like everyone says, but is time already creeping by for anyone else?  I feel like I have senioritis all over again. I cant focus at work or get anything done.  I go home and am in so much pain from the SPD that all I do is lay on the couch until I go to bed.  I wish I could find more things to occupy  my time, but I cant seem to focus on anything!

Anyone else with me already?

Re: Time is creeping by

  • Me! I feel like time flew by until about 30 weeks and now the days are creeping. I've been having trouble sleeping so I'm really tired all day and not as productive, which I'm sure makes time drag more.

I am so ready to meet this LO! (Though I of course want him to stay in and keep cooking.)

  • I should clarify...I do want her to cook until 40 weeks or as close as I can possibly come! I just want time to go by faster so it gets here!

Oh, don't think I thought you wanted your LO to come early or anything. I totally understood what you meant! I wish time would go faster!

No worries! :-) I just didnt want anyone to think this was one of those posts, and your mention of it made me worry someone might take it the wrong way! :-)

  • I can definately agree with you...I'm becoming so impatient!  Every night I take out all of her clothes and toys and line them up and just look at them.  I feel crazy when I do it but it's soothing and helps me see an actual outcome from all this big bellied/sore vag pregnancy nonsense.

  • Time seems to be flying by for me. I only have three more weekends to solidify my sub plans and powerpoints for when I am gone, and I can't seem to catch up!

I go in the nursery a lot and just move stuff around, ha. It helps me too though DH thinks I'm nuts.

  • The entire pregnancy has felt slow as molasses in winter for me.  The past 10-15 years I've watched time just fly by (everyone remember the Y2K scare?).  The older I get the faster it goes..

Until now!  You want to make time slow down?  Smell the roses? Take life one day at a time?...  Get Pregnant.

  • Right there with you. Time seems to either creep or fly by depending on what I'm thinking about. I've got some things I need to do when the baby gets here that are stressing me out because I feel like they are creeping up on me and I'm running out of time. But when I'm at work, the time goes by so slowly, probably because I can't do all the things I need to do for the baby.
  • Time is flying for me but i think that once i have my baby shower and i can finish his nursery then time will slow waay down. I think it is just so fast right now because i am not ready yet and i feel like i am running out of time!
