I might have a semi-ginger

*Points to sig*

I just got a sneak peak at some pics of Adair from a friend-tographer. She's been a baldy for so long I was shocked to see perhaps some reddish tinge to the hair?

My mom and DH's niece both have red hair. How awesome would it be for my little Irish lass to look the part :)

  • My DS had reddish hair but now it's turning more blond and I'm so bummed. Your little girl is beautiful!
  • C also has red in some lights. I had strawberry blonde as a child and DH has a tint of it; BIL is a full ginger. But C's hair is still a bit thin and so odd; I can't tell if it's going to be brown or blonde most days. Yea for Irish babies :)

LOL we drank with some guys from Adair while we were in Galway for St. Paddy's a few years ago.  I love Ireland and Conall's name is Irish.  I did try to come up with some meaningful "place names" from Ireland if we had a girl and I LOVED Clare, but DH didn't.  I have no idea if he'd go for Adair or not but since we haven't been there I never thought of it.  But it fits our criteria of unique but easy to spell/pronounce.

Ha ha we're both convinced we'll have another boy anyway but who know?  And I will have to bounce this off him to see what he thinks.

Do report on his reaction (good or bad)!

For giggiles, here's BlueRidge8 after a bit of Jameson making a ghost face(?) on the grounds of Adare

    You're adorable :P.

    Here was our email conversation:

Me: What do you think of the name Adair for a theoretical future daughter?

DH:  Lets come up with a few more and see what else shakes out.

Me:  So is that an "I could get used to it if I thought about it for awhile" type of answer?

DH: No that was a I?m trying to be nice but my daughter isn?t a participant in the World of Warcraft video game

Me:  What does that even mean?

DH: That name sounds like a princess in a video game. It was a joke. In all honesty I am not crazy about the name. I love you though.

    I just gigglesnorted.

Ha ha he's a PITA about names.  I used to get so mad when I was PG with DS.  It's like a contest to see how awesomely sarcastic and "funny" he can be while shooting down my suggestions.

I'm blocked from tumblr at work but I'll check that out when I get home :P.

Summary: Adair is #4 on their list of "girl names that signify highly educated parents"

     - but that's not nearly as much fun as his response. Well played, HeckyDH
