ZERO energy!

Hey Ladies, Everyone keeps telling me that labour is coming soon for me but I am so sleepy! I sleep about 6 hours (total after pee breaks) a night and about an hour during the day. I have no energy to get walking to get this baby out. I barely want to cook and I have no desire to move much.

I hear this is opposite of nesting and getting ready for labour. Great! haha. I just hope he comes soon.

Anyone else totally tired? Any suggestions?

Re: ZERO energy!

  • I'm also dead tired. I've had irregular contractions for the past few days, I'm losing my mp, and I'm 4 cm dilated, 70% effaced. I hope something happens lol

  • Roger that.  I lost my mucous plug Friday, I am 3-4 cm, and nada so far.  Hope you are right and this means labor is coming soon!

  • lucky ladies! I have not experienced the mucus plug thing and I was a fingertip and 50% on Friday!
  • Ugh! Me! I've gone to bed early every night and napped every day with DD. I just woke up from a 3 hour nap! And there's plenty of nesting I should be doing--my house is a mess!

  • At the hospital, if you get an epidural you'll likely be able to sleep through your contractions and then feel rested when it comes time to push.  I don't want to push epidurals/drugs/etc... but it might be an option for you if you are truly exhausted.

  • me too! I am beyond exhausted. I nap when I can but work doesnt allow that during the week.

I am sooo ready to have this baby already. Everyday is torture at this point! Please baby girl lets get things moving soon!

  • I feel super tired like this too, but when I try to sleep I still don't sleep really deeply/well. It sucks.

  • Same here.  I'm too tired to even get dressed and go out so I rarely do.  I've had bad insomnia though for 17 weeks so I'm sure that also contributes.  I'm hoping I have the energy when it's time for labor.
