F/U to Crib buying this weekend!

I posted earlier this week about buying our nursery furniture at only 15.5 weeks (about a month earlier than we planned to)....well we did end up pulling the trigger and I'm so excited! Not only did we save $475, I won a door prize at the big sale....a kiddie step stool for the bathroom. I'm also glad we ordered now too because everything we picked out is back ordered and we aren't scheduled to have it all delivered until sometime in May. We got the crib, dresser/hutch, nightstand, toddler guard rail, and conversion kit to full bed.

Now once we know the gender in about 9 days, the bedding search will begin!

Awesome! What set did you end up getting?

When we ordered our furniture we were freaked out because they told us it could take up to 24 weeks to come in...which is AFTER baby would be here! When we did order, they said, "Oh you're lucky--that particular color/set is in stock at another location and you should have it in 6-8 weeks!"

THREE DAYS LATER they called..."Your furniture is in, when would you like it delivered?" Indifferent So um, yeah we're getting nursery furniture this week!!!

OMG! That's crazy! What set did you get? We got the Munire Capri collection in espresso. Our nursery isn't cleaned out yet so I definitely need a few weeks. But exciting you'll have a crib in your house very soon!!!

Nice! Our set looks a lot like yours! We got the Davenport collection by Baby Appleseed in espresso! We spent a lot of last weekend cleaning out the nursery and DH just steam cleaned the carpets yesterday so that the room will be ready to go Thursday when everything gets delivered! It's so exciting!
