1. Day 3 of stims. Feeling anxious about what is going on in there.

2. Highlight- We didn't spend alot of money this weekend, which is good since IVF is $$. Lowlight- didn't get as much cleaning done as I would have liked.

3. I'm looking forward to my 1st checkup while stimming on Wed.

4. I'm so glad this winter hasn't been too bad. Last Feb with the ice was awful... at one point I didn't leave the house for 4 days since I work from home.

1. how are you feeling? TIRED! i stayed up til midnight reading Four to Score. I am hooked on this series of books. the reason i don't read much is because i'm not someone who can read a chapter a night. i must.keep.reading. until i finish!

2. weekend highlight - i caved and finally went shopping yesterday lowlight - i've been feeling really down/stressed about living on a budget lately. it stresses me out b/c i pay the bills and i do all the shopping, so i feel like it's really on me to be the one to keep us on track. i miss shopping without worry! i got some great deals yesterday (umm snowpants for DD # 1 next year for $6.99 whoop whoop!) but i'd really love some new clothes for myself. it's hard to justify when i don't really get out of the house much right now and still want to lose weight. /vent.

3. what are you looking forward to this week? one of my best friends is 38 weeks pregnant. i'm hoping she has that baby soon! oh! and my b-day is wednesday. which...is ash wednesday. as a catholic....talk about a bad, bad day for a b-day.

4. are you glad this winter has been pretty mild so far, or do you wish for more snow and cold? since i'm staying home i've been happy for the mild weather and not getting snowed in! although i have missed having a real big snowstorm. there's something so cozy about being snowed in once a year being forced to slow down, stay home, drink hot cocoa, and bake treats!

i hope those answer don't come across too whiney or debbie downer-ish.

1. Pretty good.

2. High: Had my family bday celebration on Friday night. Low: Lack of sleep.

3. DH has presidents day off so it's nice to have him home today. My parents are watching the kids so we can go to lunch and do some shopping.

4. Love it! I hate the cold, snowy winter. I've actually ran outside several times in January and February, which is usually unheard of.

Thought I would hop on and play today! Disregard my ticker - I'm not really 60 weeks pg or whatever it says. My screen name has an * in it and I can't change my profile, so I probably just need a new account. I digress... 1. Feeling good! I'm still lounging around in bed since Jack is still sleeping this morning. 2. High - skiing at Copper with friends; Low - our condo not being ready until 4:00 yesterday and trying to find somewhere for Jack and DH to hang out from 10-4. Poor DH...what a good man. 3. What I'm looking forward to this week - Coors brewery and lunch at Woody's in Golden with our friends who are visiting from Indiana, and hopeful that my brother gets admitted back to Parkview for physical therapy today instead of being sent back home to wait more. He was ejected from his truck on Dec 11, spent a month in the ICU, another three weeks in a rehabilitation center, and this will be the last part of his recovery (we hope). 4. N/A - I had a Denver winter this year, and didn't think it was too bad at all!

4. Are you glad this winter has been pretty mild so far, or do you wish for more snow and cold? If its going to be cold then it needs to snow. I'm over it at this point and ready for hot weather.

Feeling pretty good today. I actually slept well last night which rarely happens anymore!

2. Weekend highlight? lowlight?

Highlight: The nursery furniture was delivered on Saturday and is beautiful! Also, an out of town family member mailed us an early shower gift so I got to do some online shopping at the childrens place! Just so happened that they were having a great Presidents Day sale!

Lowlight: The weekend went by WAY too fast

3. What are you looking forward to this week? I am looking forward to going home from work tonight to see our newly assembled crib that DH is working on today as well as receiving a few packages from Childrens Place and Amazon for LO!!

4. Are you glad this winter has been pretty mild so far, or do you wish for more snow and cold?

I am so very grateful for the mild winter as I was not looking forward to being 30 + pounds heavier and worrying about slipping and falling.

1. Feeling good. Looking forward to meeting Teddy Bear

2. Highlight: our childbirth class was fun and informative! I feel more educated on what to expect, so that's nice! Lowlight: nothing really

3. Had our 38 week appointment today- I'm 50% effaced and 1cm dilated, so just really happy to hear that things are getting started! otherwise, just a normal workweek- nothing exciting!

4. I love snow and was disappointed we didn't have more. I'm not a fan of ice though so I was happy to have missed that- especially being pregnant and all.

1. Tired and nauseous. I did work out this morning, though, so I am feeling good about that.

2. Highlight: Ordering DD's bedding for her big girl room. Lowlight: Trying to corral DD by myself yesterday while at Cracker Barrel. She was bound and determined to get back into the dining room after we'd eaten. I think people thought I had a little maniac on my hands.

3. My mom comes in this weekend!

4. I wish we'd gotten a little more snow. If it's going to be cold, we might as well have some snow to go with it!

As a non-catholic, this is probably a dumb question, but why is it a bad day for a b-day? Can you not have cake or celebrate? I know you're supposed to go get ashes on your forehead at some point, right?

it's supposed to be a day of fasting and abstaining from meat. which means technically you're only allowed one real meal...and since i don't like fish or seafood it doesn't leave a lot of options! as a lover of food it's not really how i'd choose to spend the day

Ah, well then that makes sense! No big birthday dinner does not sound like a fun way to celebrate to me, either!

1. How are you feeling? Emotional. All I want to do is cry all day when I take Clomid. It doesn't help when I have dying patients around me all day long, either.

2. Weekend highlight? lowlight? Highlight-Having Sunday off to relax, catch up on the DVR, run, go to a friend's shower, and eat Valentine's chocolates all day Lowlight-getting stuck at the hospital until late Friday and working Saturday

3. What are you looking forward to this week? I gave a presentation today and have one tomorrow (which I am only half-way done with). Once tomorrow is over with things will be easy for the rest of the week.

4. Are you glad this winter has been pretty mild so far, or do you wish for more snow and cold? I am glad the winter has been mild. I HATE cold weather. I'm just worried we still have March snow showers coming...

1. As much as I hated pumping, I'm actually really sad that we're almost done breastfeeding. My supply has totally tanked and even though I'm feeding Connor at bedtime, there's not much left for him. I don't think we'll last much longer I'm thrilled we made it to a year but wasn't prepared to feel this sad now that we're to this point!

2. Highlight: Connor's birthday party. Everyone had a great time!

Lowlight: Feeling so anxious about everything going on in my life right now.

3. I'm looking forward to hopefully being productive on my post-call day Wednesday. I have a big to-do list!

4. I'm psyched. I hate the cold weather!
