Please Recommend your car that fits three carseats

So, we need to buy a car in the next 12 weeks before this baby comes! I am not what you would call a car person and feel like I have no idea what's even new, good or cool on the market. I drive a 2 row highlander now, but would like something that I don't have to put three carseats in a row across. DH and I are also 6 feet tall, so something roomy is good with storage for a big stroller + groceries. I also want something that the kid's friends can ride in when they get older for carpooling etc... I thought I wanted a Toyota Sequoia, but it is really hard (IMO) to access the third row and didn't have much trunk space. Also, let me know if you have something you don't love or has been unreliable!

My boss bought a Toyota Sienna when their twins were born last year because they need room for three carseats. They absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone.

Sounds like what you are looking for would be more of a minivan. You might be surprised at how nice they have made minivans in the last decade. We have a 09 Dodge caravan and we love it!

I have a Chevy Traverse and we just traded and got DH a suburban. The suburban has more room in the back behind the third seat but the traverse is better on gas and on a smaller frame. Both have captains chairs for the second row and a bench for the third row.

We recently bought a 2011 Toyota Sienna. I NEVER wanted a minivan, but I was shocked at how nice it was and all the extras it came with. It is perfect for me to haul around our giant breed dog and large breed dog and still have tons of room. Everything is easily accessible.

If you (like me) are totally turned off by your perception of a minivan, just test drive a Sienna. I bet it will surprise you!

I have a Mazda cx7 small suv. Fits three Carseats great. ( use it or work) There is still plenty of room.

Honda Pilot! You can actually have 6 carseats in there at once. Even with the 3rd row seating up there's still cargo room.

We will be trading my Camry in for a 2012 Sienna. We test drove the Highlander and the Sienna. When the 3rd row is in use in the Highlander, there is NO room for groceries or a stroller. The Sienna was a beautiful ride. I didn't want to get a minivan, but it really is the most practical if you don't want a huge SUV.

I'm pretty sure 3 seats will fit in my volvo station wagon. I've seen pictures on one of the car seat forum websites.

Suburban with 2nd row captians chairs. so the child in the back can walk back to their seat with out climbing over. Lots of room for stroller and groceries!

We just got a new Volvo XC 90 (it's the SUV). It has a third row with seats that fold indpendently of each other to make more cargo room or you can get built-in booster seats (if you don't need the full convertible car seat) and just use the third row for friends/occasional use.
