DS is 4.5 months and we had a huge success with baby Apple sauce. It turns out he is a big eater because he still nurses every 2 hours during the day and his sleep pattern didn't change. I want to make my own Apple sauce that I can freeze for him. The pedi said that I should cook apples n pears before making a puree, but don't need to do that for bananas and avacados. If you made your own baby food, what is the quick n easy way for this? I work so probably will do this on Sundays and freeze them. What did you use for making the puree? TIA

Re: Cooking and making purees
Ditto Scout.
I have a Ninja food processer that I love and I bought ice cube trays with lids from Bed Bath and Beyond. I never made applesauce; it seems more cost effective to just by the big jars of organic, unsweetened applesauce from the store. Same thing.
