OBGYN'S Who's the best?

This is my first pregnancy. At least I hope. I took 3 pregnancy tests. The first 2 were positive. The third I took late in the day and couldn't really read the results. I know I need to make an appointment but don't know who to go to since I don't have a regular gynecologist. Any suggestions?

    Depending on the type of birth and care you are looking for.... I love the Midwife Center in the strip. I transfered to them after about 25 weeks with west penn OBGYN. Simply asking "who's the best?" will vary greatly depending on who answers and what your desires are.

    I saw Dr. Jaja through Magee Womancare associates.  Dr. England ended up doing my delivery and I really liked both of them.  Good luck!

    West Penn OBGYN & associates they are the best!! Dr Sword delivered my DD via Csection and was so wonderful as well as the nurses.  West Penn OB is the reason I choose to stay in Pittsburgh to deliver our son in May as apposed to moving to Camp Lejuene, NC (husbands in USMC)

    It depends on what area you live in also. You are eventually going to have to see the dr every other week then every week, so you want something that is convenient either to where you live or where you work. Also, if your work hours are not flexible, you will need an office with evening hours. I go to St. Clair OB/GYN, Dr. Rankin and Dr. Warner. They are located right in St. Clair hospital. They did a great job for me, Dr. Rankin actually had me laughing during my unplanned C-section. St. Clair is also absolutely a wonderful hospital to deliver. The nurses are great and the facility is really nice.

    I used Magee Womancare Associates in both Greentree and Bethel Park. All of the docs I saw were great. Dr. Bummer delivered by son (Greentree), he is very kind and helpful. Once i moved to the Bethel Park office, i went to Dr. Tabitha Delo.. But all of the docs at that office are great. If you prefer a midwife, Nicole Rawson is so wonderful. You may want to see all the docs as your pregnancy progresses, as any one of them could be on call when you go into labor. That way you get to know them all. There are diff. Womancare locations all around Pgh, GL!

    I have been seeing Dr. Krivinko in UPMC NorthPark OB GYN in Wexford  for many years now and hoping to deliver in April with him as well. He delivers at Magee. He gets you in and out and answers all of your questions acurately. The nurses there are excellent as well! The office's phone number is 724-9341600. I know he is at the hospital on Fridays so that is the only day he does not take appointments. Love, Love, Love him, best Dr. around!

    I use OGAP.  Obstetrics and Gynecological Associates of Pgh.  They have 3 offices in Monroeville, Fox chapel, and oakland.  Really love the practice ALOT.  Especially Drs Hoca and Shaheen.
