April 2012 Moms

I don't want to be a beeyotch but...

Seriously what is up with all the "what to wear at the hospital" posts?!  I counted 4 different ones on the first 2 pages alone.  Is it that hard to scroll down and read what the others have already said?  I mean c'mon!

Flame away, I haven't had coffee or breakfast yet.

  • I'd still rather read those than see the constant "What to expect at my glucose/I passed" posts! Then again, I guess those are coming to an end and I'll soon become annoyed with the "What to wear" posts.

  • I'm on my second cup, so I'm not quite as annoyed as you are, but I know what you mean.  I never thought it was so hard to figure out:  You just gave birth, so you'll want to be comfortable.  You'll bleed a lot afterwards so you probably want to leave your silk nightie at home (You know, the one that is embroidered with gold and diamonds?)  Do you like nightgowns?  Wear one.  Do you like sweatpants and t-shirts?  Wear those.  Problem solved :)

No flaming coming from me here...I haven't had my coffee either....but I did just scroll through the first page and did not find one post title that related to hospital clothing (except for mine of course) and then on the 2nd page I found one that had "comfy clothing" or something like that in the title. Maybe there are more posts with title names that don't exactly give them away.  I'm not sure which 4 you are talking about that are all the same- I thought I was being pretty original Stick out tongue Oh well! I do understand how some thing get repetitive on the boards though.

it depends on whether the undies are fullback, thong or g-string.  Enormous overnight pads don't stick so good to g-strings.

Moron, party of one. I've never worn a pad or liner, and it didn't cross my mind I wouldn't be able to wear one with a thong. I don't own any full coverage underwear...guess there's another item on my shopping list. Gross, I hate non-thongs; they're so uncomfortable.

Been that person. When I had my HSG test done (test done during IF), I only had a g-string on and needed to wear a huge hospital pad to go home ~ was not easy or pretty!!!
