I know, I know. I'm totally obsessing over this OPK thing! I even used one of my friend's tests to make sure mine weren't defective. I didn't think they were, as they've been showing a clear control line, but I figured I'd check anyway. My friend's test said the same thing. Tonight I compared one of the ovulation tests to one of the pregnancy tests and took a picture. The ovulation test still has a clear control line, but it is so faint compared to the control line of the pregnancy test. Both test lines don't show up at all.
Do you ladies have any insights? Is that just the way the tests are and I'm just not ovulating yet, or do you think there might be something wrong with the test(s)? Here's a pic:

TIA!
ETA: OMG. That is huge! So sorry! Let me see if I can figure out how to resize it and fix it. Also, I forgot to mention that the pregnancy test is the green one and the ovulation test is the pink one.
ETA2: Okay, fixed. I think.

Does it look like the OPK is working? It's very obviously not a positive one, but I've been using them for a couple weeks now and I haven't even so much as gotten a glimmer of a second line on them. Today I tried it side by side the pregnancy test, and the control line on the pregnancy test is so much darker which makes me afraid maybe the OPKs aren't working.
Oh, ok. Yes, they look fine. OPKs don't always have a very dark control line. they vary. That is why they say a +OPK is as dark or darker than the control line.

Some people get a fade-in pattern, some get nothing at all & then BAM there's a line. So no, this is not a problem.

BAM line! Thanks Landos, I was wondering!
The blue blurs are some sort of design thing. I thought it was weird, but they all have that blue design thing to separate the control line from the test line.
Also, I have not gotten any sort of test line on the OPKs yet. I'm trying to not get discouraged, but it's starting to be as bad as seeing a BFN.
The controls lines on my OPKs are often pretty light too. However I do always have some kind of test line, even though it's sometimes very faint. But I do recall some women saying they often do not have any kind of test line if it is negative, so I would assume its normal.
I could be totally wrong, but I thought I read having PCOS can sometimes mean your LH levels are always a little elevated....I do have PCOS so that might explain why I always have a faint to decent test line.

That was my thought too, Shay! I've been through 100s of OPKs and have never had any blue show up...ever! I would have been baffled too, OP, for that reason alone.
