Things don't seem right after my D&C...

Hello ladies.
I had a D&C on Decembers 1st for a missed miscarriage. It took about 7 weeks before I had my first period. I had bad cramps with one day of light flow and two days of spotting. My OB said it was normal and that my next few cycles may be the same. But now for the last three weeks I swore I was pregnant because I have been dizzy, fatigued, nauseous, and had a headache. But negative tests everytime! Now I have had what I believe to be my second period. I have had cramps for 10 days and barely spotting for 8 days. Now the last three days I've been getting hot flashes. Seems like my period without the blood. Now for three days I've had a sharp pain in my lower right abdomen. I guess I am just wondering if this happened to anyone else and I would like to know if your periods went back to normal and when? I don't know if I should be worried but I am. I am scared to try to conceive yet because I feel that my body isn't healed. I would appreciate any feedback on your simliar experiences. Thank you.

I didn't have a D&C but periods after m/c can be extremely different than pre-m/c periods.
If in doubt, call your doctor. That's what you pay them for!

You need to call your OB right away. Do they have a number for emergencies?
My cycle did exactly everything that my OB said it would. The only complications I had was a large blood clot in my uterus that I passed about a week after the procedure and now I have anovulatory cycles which is being corrected with clomid. And that was something that could have happened even with natural m/c or full term pregnancy.
With my clot, I had the worst cramps imaginable and didn't think anything of it until I started getting dizzy and passing out. That's when they found the clot.
It could be a clot or an infection with some of the other symptoms you are having. I think you need to get yourself checked out ASAP to make sure you are healthy and all of this is normal.

I am sorry you are experiencing this and I am sorry for your loss.
I had a D&C a year ago (12/6/10) and I just felt something wasnt right. I didnt have a fever, I just didnt get AF for 5 mths (even trying progesterone). I just felt something was wrong, I knew it. Finally 141 days later AF showed and I forgot about it.
I got pg 4 or 5 mths later and had another mc. Decided to go to an RE and, long story short, I had some scar tissue and adhesions. RE said it was probably complications from my D&C and that it could have easily caused my mc.
If you feel, deep down, something is wrong- get answers. I wish I would have followed my gut.
****This isnt to scare anyone, D&Cs are common and usually have easy healing. This is more about me "knowing something was wrong" and not following my gut.

If you haven't done so already, call your doc. They may want to do some tests (u/s) to make sure everything is ok. It might be your body still trying to find a new "normal" or it may be something else. You know your body the best and if you feel that something isn't right, it probably isn't. That doesn't mean its anything to horrible, but you should definitely get it checked out.
FTR, I had a missed mc at 11 wks, that required an emergency D&C. Post D&C I had only a few days of light bleeding, then waited 70d for my first post m/c AF. It was short and light and my next 2 cycles were shorter than normal and slightly heavier than normal, but still light in the overall scheme of things. I had only very minor cramping with my m/c, D&C or post loss AFs.
