Anyone using this conv car seat yet? We just got one yesterday and DH thinks we don't need the head thing if we aren't using the lower body support because it makes the baby's head look uncomfortable. I say we need it for protection

    We just started using our MyRide on Fri. Her thighs were too big for the bottom support, she just didn't fit with it in. But I do use the head support and age,seems to really like her new seat.

    We have it but haven't started using it yet.  We are still debating the head support/no head support issue.  The thing I'm most worried about right now is fitting it into the backseat of my Corolla!  Had I known I was going to be pg 2 weeks later, I'd have bought a bigger car ;)  Her infant seat barely fits in the middle of the backseat.

    I have it but I haven't used it yet. I'm just not ready to have to unbuckle/buckle her every time I take her out.

    We are also debating whether or not to use the head support thing. The bottom portion is deff out of the question because DD also had big thighs. The head support thing does look too big and makes DD look uncomfortable, but I would just feel better about using it. So we are still at a debate, which I guess doesn't really help...

    I have the my ride and my LO has been in it since Christmas. I mostly made the decision to switch because she was always trying to sit up in the infant seat and would scream her head off. She LOVES riding in the car now. She always wakes up when the car stops anyway so taking her in and out is not an issue for me. Plus she sits well in the shopping cart/ high chair. It IS big though, I have an old body style Jetta ( the smaller one ) and it takes up a huge chunk of the seat.

    we adjusting things a little and are going to try it again with the head support this afternoon. I definitely feel better using it! I think it just had to be moved down one level. Owen is such a big baby that the infant carrier was ridiculous to use anymore
