How can I prevent Carina from catching...

... whatever I'm coming down with? As you know there's no SO in my life to help me and BFing didn't pan out for me. If it gets dire I'll call my mom to take her but she already spends all day with her all week I don't want to abuse her , know what I mean? I keep washing my hands and sanitizing and also washing her binkies every time I touch it and try not to touch the nipple of her bottle. Anything else I can do? I try not to breathe on her but that's pretty unrealistic ...I've got a sore throat, achy joints and a low grade fever...

    Oh no...feel better!  I was sick with a cold, andcolin didn't catch anything!  I keep bottles of purell all over the house and anywhere I would be picking baby up ( next to changing table, swing, crib).  I also anti bac my hands before making bottles since I'm touching the parts.

    It may look a little goofy, but you can also wear a mask.  It might scare her though if she doesn't know it's you under it :)

    I hate to say it, but she's probably already exposed to what you have...I'd just continue to practice really good hand hygiene and pray for the best.

    This.  And if it makes you feel better, there were plenty of times I was sick and they didn't get it, and vice versa.
