you are going early.  I am starting to think not since 40 weeks is tomorrow.  Had some weird pains last night, just hoping that something was starting but nothing progressed.  It just gave me a difficult time sleeping.  Still having those pains though.  Back ache, worse cramping than usual and slight twinges in stomach but nothing more and it's been 12 hours.

I just had a feeling that because every one said early, I may be late (or right on time). I just hope not too late.

    I hated it when people would say "oh you'll never make it to your due date". I got the idea stuck in my head and when I was due and finally late, it made it so much more worse. They are saying it again this time, but now I know better than to believe them. Hang in there. Its all a mind game now.

    I have had people tell me the same thing even tho my other 2 where 10 days "late" and 3 days "late".

    My midwife even did not seem hopeful I would be back this coming week but she would see me in the hospital but here I am no signs of anything.

    The waiting is tough [esp with your 1st] but you KNOW in less than 2 weeks no matter what something is gonna happen ;)

    I thought I would be early but now I am jsut excited to meet him whenever his birthday is.

    At my last appointment on Monday (38 weeks) my doctor said I was 3 cm and 80% effaced...she said "I will make an appointment for you for next Monday but I know I won't see you..."

    DON'T SAY THESE THINGS TO ME! It led me to being paranoid all week and trying to determine when my body was going into labor, and now I am just disappointed. :(
