DH is driving me crazy...vent

I've been nesting for like a week now and every time I get a room spotless and clean, here he comes making a mess like a 4 year old. We are self-employed, so he's home a good part of the day, but it's like he's gotten more junky than before. I don't know if I can notice it more, because I'm trying to make sure everything is perfect for the LO, or if he's just going out of his way to not clean up after himself because he knows I've been cleaning. I can't grasp why he has so many pairs of sneakers, but I really can't grasp why he can't put them in the closet. I know I'm a little more on edge because I'm anticipating the baby coming, but I feel like throwing something at him. Normally, he does everything I ask, he doesn't complain, and takes great care of me when I'm not feeling well.

I do feel your pain a bit. Last week I spent all day cleaning - nay, scouring - the kitchen. It has never looked so good in all the time we've lived in this house together. My knuckleheaded Hubster did fine for about a day, then went back to his old habits of leaving crumbs all over the counter, not wiping off the stovetop when he finished cooking something, etc. I love him dearly, but sometimes I want to smack him.
